Plaster Spreader

The Stainless Steel Cast Spreader is an essential tool to assist in the removal of a cast. Once the form has been cut and sawed, this device is used to open and lift the model off and away from the affected area. This Cast Spreader has a serrated edge to grab onto and spread apart the cast after the cast has been cut with a cast removal saw. The 3-prong jaws, with their horizontally-serrated surface, allow the spreader to fit into the cut from the saw and spread apart the cast material. The plier-style handle allows one-handed operation for the spreading apart and removal of either a plaster or fibreglass cast. The cast spreader is made with surgical-grade stainless steel.
